To provide care for young children during the worship service,
who because of their age are unable to sit quietly or without
needing to receive attention when their biological needs and functions
are expressed.
To
teach children about God, his love for mankind, man’s need
to accept his son and obey his word, so that our children reflect
God’s plan for mankind.
To
provide an atmosphere which allows children to feel that they
are an integral part of the church community. That there are places,
services, activities and opportunities for them to express themselves
comfortably and freely when they attend church. To develop a positive
sense of belonging and ownership which makes children look forward
to and enjoy being in church.
To
provide a community where children develop peer relationships
which are positive, to develop among the children a sense of belonging
and acceptance in a large well established group, instead of the
current societal dilemma, which exists where children who belong
to a religious home, who go to church and obey God are made to
feel different, weird, and ridiculed.
